More Info

Discover the bright, vibrant flavors of our newest Colombian coffee, sourced from the heart of one of Colombia's most renowned coffee-growing regions. Grown at high altitudes in the lush, volcanic soils of Tolima, this light roast preserves the delicate balance of the coffee’s natural flavors, offering an exciting and refreshing cup.

This coffee gets its name from Jorge Rojas, a 4th gen coffee producer from Planadas, Tolima, who is renowned for his work in specialty coffee. He manages Finca la Roca, a 3-hectare farm, where he cultivates varieties such as Caturra, Geisha, and Pink Bourbon. He has been a finalist in the Cup of Excellence competition, which is a renowned achievement for a coffee producer. He accomplished this feat through his innovative fermentation and drying techniques.

Jorge’s journey in coffee began at 13 years old when his mother allowed him to work on the farm. As he grew in experience and learned everything he needed to know to run a coffee farm, he found himself inheriting part of his father’s farm which is still where he grows his coffee today (though it’s grown since then). After years of experimenting with coffee, Jorge founded “La Roca” and is currently building a wet mill as he plans to buy and process coffee cherries from his neighbors.
